With quite possibly my worst year behind me it is time to get back to my core, to what made me successful, and to the passions that made up my everyday life. Over the past few years my appetite for the cinema has dropped off. This is very disturbing and needs to change. I decided to start this blog (I really hate that word) in order to reignite my passion for motion pictures and the creative process, instill some much needed discipline, and hopefully end up spilling over into other areas of my life.
The concept is simple enough. Over the next year I will watch and comment on at least 365 movies. I will try to see as many 2011 movies as I can while also catching up on some of the major movies I missed over the last few years and on occasion dive into the classics. Some stretches may have themes and at times I may even take requests.
At it's core this is a journey. Ever evolving I am not sure where it will take me, but at the end I can guarantee I will have seen a lot of movies. Some good and others no so, but hopefully, if nothing else, they will at least entertain.
