East Asian Cinema Extended

Six days into this 14 day theme and I realized that I cannot limit myself to two weeks. I do not know if it will be extended to three, but I will definitely need some extra days. Five countries can produce a lot of good movies in a decade, more specifically four and a Special Administrative Region (SAR). I have been narrowing my list again and again, but with six movies from Japan, the five to come from Hong Kong and four from South Korea. There are just too many gems to see. That is a solid two weeks right there and I still have China and possibly Taiwan to go. The one thing that surprised me the most was being able to find copies of some of the long shots on my list. This might end up being a three week job after all and that is fine with me.
