Well, my search for American films from the last year was short lived. I quickly lost interest in that and have chosen a whole new direction.
I got off track with my foreign journey for a little while. I am going to get back on that train and do my first real theme. I will spend the next few weeks diving into Asian cinema, more specifically East Asian cinema. I have seen quite a few Asian films in my short life and would say close to half of the films were Japanese animation. There are so many classic films and just plain interesting ones that it could take forever to see them all. This go around will be limited to the last decade. There should be enough quality films for me to create a two week list of things I have not seen. Notable omissions will probably come from the horror genre because I could easily fill a week with things I have yet to see. Enough of my babbling. On with the show.
